Hi,

I have started noticing in shadows i get very strange color artifacts. It reminds me of "Dead pixle" or "Noise" but is only in the shadows

I have tried alot... I am exporting in 16 bit, Tiff no compression.
Weird thing about this is the stichting photos (Which are made when stitching this picture) do not have this error...

Any idea's?

Scrolled a bit down and found a fix for it..

-Expert view
- Stitcher
- Proscessing
- Blender
- enblend
-Option
Write "--blend-colorspace=identity" Without ""

Now is my question, since im so very new to this, After I put this line in, will It always use this command line?
That would be preferred.
Unless there are some downsides to it.

To make it the default for all new projects:

Start Hugin without a project open.
File > Preferences > Programs.
Under "Enblend executable" find "Default Arguments".
Add --blend-colorspace=identity at the end.
Click OK until you're back at the main Hugin screen.

I made it my default a long time ago with no problems.

I have very rarely found color artifacts in very dark areas of panoramas that I output in EXR format and process through LuminanceHDR, but only one of the HDR algorithm's it uses produce them. The artifacts don't appear in 16-bit TIF format, so maybe they come from EXR's 32-bit floating point color depth.

The process below is how you set the colorspace option for a specific project.
