I've just updated www.hubbardston.org, www.hubbardstonlibrary.org, and
www.lyonsmuir.org.

hubbardstonlibrary.org is a new web site for the Hubbardston Library.

WRITE YOUR LIFE WORKSHOP

Saturday, March 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Lake Odessa
Freight Station Museum, located at 1117 Emerson Street, Lake Odessa,
directly behind the Historical Society Depot Museum.

Bobbe Taber, founder and owner of Life Write Services will be teaching
proven techniques to remember, organize, and write your autobiography
using manageable steps that, when added up, will help you achieve your
goal. Participants will learn literary techniques used by
professional writers to create interesting characters, memorable
settings and compelling action that can be woven together in stories
that honor your life journey. If you are ready to quit talking about
getting your story written and start writing, this is the place to
begin your project.

Refreshments will be provided and the Ionia County Genealogical
Society resource room will be open from noon until 5 p.m. for
participants to use.

This event is free of charge and is being hosted by the Lake Odessa

IRISH EXTRAVAGANZA
March 28, 2008, 6:00 pm Irish Extravaganza at the St. John the Baptist
Hall Dance: Irish Dancers Music: Clintonaires Barbershop, featuring
Barleycorn! Refreshments served. Public welcomed. Tickets: $20.
