to How to write an Autobiography
Many Autobiographies are written in chronological order. We start with
the past and we finish with the ‘here and now’, adding to our story as
life unfolds in the present.

A Family Tree is a useful way to start researching your Family History
and may provide you with the name of a family member who can help you
fill in the blanks of the stories from your early years.

Making your own Family Tree, whether simple or very involved, can be a
fantastic learning experience. Discovering the missing links in your
family can bring families closer and help build many new stories to
include in your Autobiography.

There are many websites that will help you start and build your Family
Tree. One of our favorites is:

Building your Family Tree is fun and who knows; you may even be
related to someone famous or be surprised by your ancestry!
