I am looking for an active hydroculture group, and the only one in
English is this one. I know that hydroculture is not very popular in
the US, but it is helpful to know that there are other people that use
this method of gardening. I am fairly new at it, but enjoy doing it. I
notice a big difference in the heath of my plant, and plan on doing it
for all of my houseplants. So lets try harder to be slightly more
active.

Please don't take it as me being rude.

Hi Layilia,

Re inactivity - You are not being rude, just asking a good question. I
started this group sometime ago after creating a couple of web pages
on hydroculture, got little traffic here, and got involved in other
things, so ...

The ways a group gets active:
- most posts by members
- more responses to member posts by other members
- more members

I'll try to be a little more attentive, as I still enjoy hydroculture.

I've been passive with my hydroculture and houseplants in general for
a while now. Still have a few hydro plants and the amazing thing is
they keep on providing green for my house, just ask for a little drink
now and then.

What kinds of houseplants are people out there growing in hydroculture
pots? How do you get them started? (cuttings?, buy new hydro plants?,
transfer from dirt?)

Thanks for posting and stirring the pot... Regards, jack

Hello Jack,

Thanks, I have been reading more and more about passive hydroculture, and just wanted imput or discussion from people who are doing the same thing.
