Hi, Housing Action Team members,
Following today’s meeting, I looked up Benton County’s Coordinated Homeless Response Office (CHRO) to better inform myself about where the state funds are going. I thought you might be interested in reading this page on the Benton County website: Benton County surpasses goal, rehouses 54 households - Benton County Health Department, Oregon.
Lynn and Debi, thank you for inviting Aleita to the meeting – and to everyone who attended and participated in the discussion!

I live within the traditional homeland of the Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya …Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations at either Grand Ronde or Siletz. Today, the Kalapuya live on tribal lands or tribal-ceded lands throughout the region. Many Kalapuya are active members of the sovereign nations of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde or the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Kalapuya culture is alive.
