Ganwin stood at the edge of the group, his flickering form resolving back
into a coherent form as he watched the wolves retreat. "I'm with the spell
weaver" he said to nobody inparticular, "I dislike fights that the enemy
knows are coming. We'll always be on the run. Even if we manage to take out
a dozen or more of their troops and survive; there will be more. Or if not
them, another group. We much choose when and where we strike so that they
cannot wear us down with sheer numbers."
The rogue's eyes wandered over their surroundings, "I'd set an ambush here,
so let's not do that. Let us move a day or more down the trail and then set
an ambush, just the fastest of us. We'll kill a few, perhaps a commander,
and then dissapear like the wind. Our strength is that without the dwarven
women and children we should be able to outmove even the most whipped of
orcish battalions."
