Alright, good turn. It's good to get back in the game.

Here's a little action to get the blood pumping again. :)

Read the ooc.

Questions, comments, and/or suggestions.

Enjoy!

RPG: The dwarf saw Wendell hit the ground and stay down, saw his nephew
make his stand against the wolves. Grakram grinned humorlessly; short
they might be, and bloody useless on a hard march, but they weren't
cowards that was for sure. Grakram skidded to a stop, drew his shining
mithril axe, turned around and started running towards the gnomes as
fast as his short legs could propel him.

A single glance was enough to tell him he wouldn't make it before the
wolves reached the two gnomes, so Grakram raised his voice in a
bloodthirsty scream to make the wolves forget their cowering prey and
turn their attention to the hunter rushing towards them. The battle
dream threatened to overwhelm him, but the dwarven berserker forced it
aside for the moment; it might be needed yet, but he'd see what he
could do without, first.

In any case, the presence of the Shadowspawns' trackers here, this
close to them, seemed to indicate the enemy had kept on their trail. It
was possible the children and the Silver Mine had been spared, and they
had lured the enemy away from the dwarfholds' back yards. All those
days, marching down the rocky mountain trails, withstanding the bangs
of hunger, resisting the urge to go back and die a glorious death while
bashing in a few heads...

It had been a long, arduous journey with nothing worthwhile for him to
kill, so Grakram intended to savor this bloodletting.

TAG: Everyone interested...

NPRG: So, if the wolves can reach the tower in two rounds, they'll
reach the gnomes in one. Grakram is 180 feet from the gnomes. He can
sprint (x4 movement) 120 feet in one round. So he won't make it, but
his charge might make him seem more dangerous and draw some of the
wolves from menacing the gnomes. Here's hoping Grakram won't be
charging in alone ;^)

1st round: Full move (Run) towards the gnomes and wolves. Will get
within 60 feet of the gnomes, might even get within spitting distance
of the wolves if they keep coming past the small folk.
2nd round: Full Attack at any wolf in reach, the leader would naturally
be a favorite, but any one will do. Don't want AoOs on top of my
other problems. If the wolves don't come to me, it's time to charge
over the remaining distance.

Don't forget that animals fear Grakram's Bestial Aura, and even if
these ones aren't exactly normal anymore, some remnant of the terror
might well remain...

OOC; Hey fabian seems kruack was left out of this location wise anyway,
Since time and distance seems to be playing a big factor here I will need
his location. I am going to start writing this out as if he is with group 1
although might also work if he wasn't :) Let me know

Hey Bill,

Sorry about that. That's what I get for writing turns late at night. :)

Anyway, Kruack is with the main group or group 1.

I look forward to your post.

(OOC; No problem Fabian it is where I assumed he would be and after reading and rereading a few things. I came up with the following two being really completely different from each other. The first the way I read it should work but if not I figured lets try a different approach. I am fine with either)

(Kruack/New)

Kruack walked along the path with the others pondering the past weeks travel, growing more and more concerned with the welfare of brew and the gnomes as they seemed to be falling further and further behind. The wildlander knew they would need to at least slow this pace soon if not get some rest as even he was felling very travel worn..

Hearing Urokks' call to Grakram broke him of his mind wondering and snapped his senses back to where he was and what was going on, Just as Grakram join the front line kruack felt uneasy something was wrong just as they heard the sounds of the wolves. The wildlander quickly turn to face the pack as they came running forth he saw Wendell fall and Athur turn and draw a crossbow.. they stand no chance the wildlander exclaimed.

Just as Grakram passed him, drawing his axe, Kruack quickly looked up the path first at Grakram then brew, the gnomes and finally the pack of wolves, We will not reach them in time..He thought we need to slow or distract the wolves.

The Wildlander quickly broke into a run (120 feet) towards brew beside Grakram sizing the distance between them and the wolves as he closed in the gap between them then, He proceeded to draw his newly acquired ornate (mw) bastard sword and charged (60 feet +2 Attack) to the leader of the pack (Hunter's Strike (Ex) Double Damage).

(OOC; from what I could tell the above should work if not then can just use this one below instead)

As the wolves drew closer and closer, Kruack dropped to one knee so he could lower his height and now be able to look the wolves in the eyes (Wild Empathy). I will least longer then no gnomes will at least went through his mind as he started to clear his thoughts and only focused in on the single wolf closest to him at first he had to strain but then it seem to get easier to let his thoughts flow out to the wolf

Hey Bill,

The first set of actions are 'doable' for two rounds so I'll use those as Kruack's intended actions when I roll dice for the turn.

[Greta/new]

Greta heard the wolves howl and heard the gnomes cry
for help. She turned and saw the 5 slavering beasts
bearing down on the gnomes. While the gnomes weren't
defenseless, they were certainly outmatched by the
black wolves. Silently, Greta gripped her spear and
started to run towards the gnomes. After days of
running away, the time to fight had come.

(Turn 1, Greta runs 120 feet towards the gnomes. Turn
2 assumes there's a wolf within charge range of her.)

[Greta/new]

When the wolves were close enough Greta lowered her
spear. Without a sound she charged one of the wolves,
intending to skewer it on her lance. She was already
thinking of what she could do with the fur, once the
beast was dead.

(turn 2, charge and attack one of the wolves on the
gnomes, unless a wolf has already engaged her. Power
attack for 3.)

Hit: Greta's spear drove into the beast's shoulder
causing it to growl in pain.

Miss: the wolf dodged at the last second and Greta's
spear struck nothing.
