Hope for the Children - A Midnight PBEM
RPG: "Sure they be, lad," Grakram grunted from where he was staring
at the pictographs suspiciously, frowning in thought as he tried to
find an intentional flaw in the patterns that would give him an idea
where to look for the trigger that would open a door instead of
dropping the roof on their heads.
After the frustration of the lack of bloody conflicts and the prospect
of leaving the comfort of the mountains behind them, this find was a
gift from the Spirit Below to the dwarven warrior. One last night spent
with the comforting weight of a mountain over his head... and who knew
what mysteries hidden in the old refuge? For him, this was too good an
opportunity to miss.
"Well, what be ye standin' there like poleaxed oxes?" the dwarf
snarled. "Git here an' help me open yon door. But keep yer hands in
yer pockets; Urokk be right tae fear traps, an' these be good proper
dwarven traps, not some shoddy Manlin' craftsmanship!"
TAG: Everyone interested...
NRPG: *Groan* Another 15-hour day at work behind me... Lucky me warrior
classes are known for their stellar observation skills! *Snort*
Searching for an entrance and possible stonework traps, thanks to
Grakram's Stonecunning ability... Might get lucky, and at least he
has an idea what he might be facing...
