[Kruack – Old]
The Wildlander Slowly approached the halfling women and intoduced
himself the best he could(speaking in halfling).

[Cita – New]
Cita was astonished to find someone who could speak Halfling among
this group of ruffians. She was on the verge of responding when Urokk
swept her up into the air.

[Greta – Old]
"If you wish to come with us, I do not think the others will object.
These mountains are dangerous for the lone traveler." Greta paused
again and gazed quizzically at Cita. "Speaking of which, how did you
come to be here?"

[Cita – New]
Cita was certainly not going to tell Greta that she had followed her
cat into the mountains, it wouldn't do to give too many secrets away
at this stage.

"They are not so dangerous for someone who is easily overlooked," Cita
replied wryly. "Sometimes security is better forsaken for stealth.
Besides, you people don't seem to have fared too well as a group."

With that, her eyes fell on the two small gnomes who were now huddled
against the wall of the cavern. "Excuse me," she said, and left Greta
to meet the gnomes.

One of the gnomes was obviously badly injured. Approaching them
slowly and keeping well away from the dwarf and dworg, Cita introduced
herself, speaking gnomish, "Greetings fellow travelers."

Arthur and Wendell stared at Cita in surprise at hearing their own
tongue. "I see that you are hurt," she said to Wendell. "My name is
Cita, please let me help you." And with that she lay her hands
lightly upon Wendell's shoulders. She reached inside and tapped the
power that lay there. The feeling of the power rushing along her arms
and into Wendell tingled and in the cold, dark air of the cave, Cita
shivered. [heal light wounds]

Wendell shivered too as he felt the healing powers racing through his
body, bringing back his energy and dulling the edge of the pain. He
straightened a little and smiled at Cita, "Thanks."

Charl, Cita noticed, had already climbed into Arthur's lap and was
purring contentedly as Arthur scratched him behind the ears.

REF: "We found this kid. I think we should take her with us. I don't
think she stands much chance out her on her own."

RPG: Busily butchering a worg for meat, the dwarf shook his head in
disgust. He wasn't still quite convinced that their mission was as
vital as some of the others seemed to think, but since so much had
been sacrificed already to speed them on their way, it would be a
colossal waste to stop now. But be that as it may, Grakram couldn't
quite fit into his head why the sudden arrival of the Halfling wasn't
seen as cause for concern.

Might be an issue of height; the manlings were so tall, their brains
were suffering from lack of air.

"Either kill the lass or take her with us so we can make sure she
ain't gonna go an' report tae some Shadow-lickin' arse-wrap," Grakram
growled loud enough for everyone to hear his opinion in the matter.
"Fer all we know, she be all trouble in a small packet an' Oi ain't
gonna take many chances where a quick chop o' the axe can take care o'
any doubts."

He glanced back, took note of the looks the others cast in his way and
turned back to his task, muttering curses in Dwarvish. The others
might be all taken with the little lady but he would keep his eyes
open.

REF: "Heal the Dothane if you're so eager to show off," Urokk snapped.
"I'll receive no help from you while you continue to disrespect him."

RPG: The dwarf's jaw dropped a fraction and he cast an incredulous
look at the dworg. Then he glanced at the magnificent mithril axe he
had taken from the body of the last Dorthane. Taken, to keep an
artifact from the hands of servants of Shadow, to keep it safe until
he could deliver it to a worthy wielder.

And now the lad had got it into his head he sought to claim the title
of the Dorthane along with the axe! He, a dead dwarf walking, seeking
only a mighty death to atone for his failings in life! He'd need to
have a quiet word of two with Urokk later, to try and explain the
matter to him.

REF: "Urokk insists he doesn't need his wounds healed; how about you?"

RPG: "Oi want yer magic 'bout as much as Oi want tae catch a plague,"
the dwarf spat on the ground between Brew's boots, grimacing in
disgust. The Slayer was quick to anger and slow to cool down like most
of his like, and it would be a long while yet before he would swallow
his pride and forget the real and imagined slights caused by Brew's
words.

As if to illustrate, he took a clean rag from his back, sliced a
goblin's rough jerkin into straps and fastened the crude bandage on
top of the wound in his leg, where the black wolf had bit into bone.
Grakram clenched his teeth against the pain as he tightened the
straps; he would limp a bit for a day or two but he could manage on
his own; if they needed to run, he might reconsider and allow Brew to
cast his spell.

TAG: Everyone interested...

NRPG: What do you know? Think I made it after all! Thanks for the
offer of healing, but Grakram's still not quite over the original
argument between him and Brew ;^)

Its cool. :) Given the diverse cast of characters we
have its only natural for their to be conflict amongst
them. And conflict is the heart of drama.

Hey guys,

I've just been plain busy. My wife's birthday was this weekend so we had some friends come over today and we went to dinner lat night and had a ballet recital of my 7-year old this afternoon. To make the story short, no turn today but tomorrow without delay.

Game on!

Fabian
