This is the only New Years email I am sending:
A couple years ago I did a party at Oh-La La (a small club in DC) that is now closed. We had a blast cause all of our friends were there. This year I am doing the same thing - a private event at Velocity 5 in Arlington.
All the info is below. Plus the link to facebook. You can invite friends but I am only selling 200 tickets and its first come first serve. I do not want to PACK the house with random people, just our friends and our friends friends. If for some reason the facebook link doesnt work, shoot me an email and ill fix it for you (the event is set up as a private event and only those invited can see it) For those of you who dont have facebook, ive added a screen shot as an attachment.

Surprise guest DJ (spinning mashups or anything we request)
If you are getting this invite please note you must be VERY Special cause this is a PRIVATE event. We are not going to SLAM this place with people - just 200 of our closest and coolest friends. You must be invited (you can bring your friends) but we got the best deal in Arlington!

Gold ($65 per person) (10 PM to 1 AM)
~Open Bar (Rail Liquor, House Wine, Draft & Domestic Beer)
