Everyone -
Some of you may have read Luis' email about Carlos this morning regarding his heart attack -
I just called and talked with Carlos - he was with a group of people at Lake Travis over the weekend - he was in the water and started have severe chest pains, trouble breathing, etc. They helped him out of the water - he lost consciousness - he was transported to the hospital in Austin where he has been until last night. After monitoring him and putting him thru a great many tests, the doctors diagnosed him as having a spell of arrhythmia. They do not feel he had a heart attack - he is on medications and will be off work the rest of the week - he is to take it easy for a while - he will continue to see the doctor and be alert that this can happen again.
He told me that he thinks he needs to stay out of the water - every time he is in contact with a large body of water something disastrous happens - I AGREED WHOLEHEARTEDLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thought you would appreciate an update - I know Carlos and Diany would love to hear from you and know they are in your prayers.
