[Homo Hotel Happy Hour]

Hello Homos,

I apologize about the last minute notice on this month’s HHHH. My
original venue fell through and I’ve been finalizing this week’s up
until today. Trattoria Nicola at the Embassy Suites Downtown has come
through! It is conveniently located just a few blocks southwest of
Dupont Circle. The event will start at 5:30 pm. We will have up to
three bars available. There will be the main bar, a full satellite bar
set up in the attached wine room and if the weather permits (it’s
supposed to be 60!) an additional satellite bar on the patio. The
latter two bars will be cash only. Trattoria Nicola will also be
providing light fare for our nibbling. Drinks specials will include a
$5 Vodka special and $5 Sangria.

Our GLBT partner this month is the Capital Pride Alliance. A portion
of the proceeds from the bar will benefit the organization responsible
for bringing you Capital Pride. The Capital Pride Alliance’s sole
purpose is to successfully support, plan, implement, and assess the
annual Capital Pride events and related activities throughout the
year, beginning in 2009. This year’s annual celebration, Capital Pride
2009 Generations of Pride: Celebrate & Remember Stonewall at 40, will
have events spanning June 5 – 14.
