Information on Anderson's family is attached.  Details on children's families other than Becky's, Aritus's and Helen's are especially needed, though feel free to share any on those three, as well.

It would be helpful if you could post a family group for Richard
Holt & Richard Jr.

Thanks.  That was one I did not have, or at least could not find in all my Holt stuff. ;-)

Is Essie still living?

Andrew Jackson Holt and Mary Melissa A. Poe are my husbands great-grandparents.
I have attached a pdf file showing their children.  The 1900 census shows a Mary Poe, born  May  1811,  mother-in-law, living in the household.  It shows she is the mother of 1 child.

Also Alonza C. Holt married Barbara Wicker April 24, 1898

Alonzo Holt (21) son of Anderson Holt (deceased) and Melinda Holt
married Barbara Wicker daughter of Jesse Wicker and Amanda Wicker (both
deceased) on 24 April 1898.  The couple was married by M.J. Mann "in
the road near Haywood Bridge".  Witnesses included E.L. Wicker (other
names illegible).

This info was posted to the group earlier under Marriage Records.

Where is Haywood Bridge?

It's interesting that Alonzo and Barbara were married in April of 1898.  The 1900 census (Moore County) states that they were were married for three years and that their oldest child (Alonzo, Jr.) was three.  Also a child Rosa Lee, age 5 months.  I remember a year or so ago tracing Barbara & Rosa Lee to Pittsylvania County, VA.  She was there in 1920.  Didn't have much luck with this family otherwise.  What became of Alonzo Holt, Jr.?  And does anyone know anything about Alonzo, Sr.'s death beyond it resulting from a saw mill accident about 1906?  Were there other children besides Alonzo and Rosa Lee?

When & where were Jacky Holt and Melissa Poe married?

Great find.  Where did you find this?  Lee County was not formed until around 1909, so technically she was born in Moore.

What database is that?  I must not have a subscription to that one.  What record was referenced by Ancestry?  I can not tell by looking at it.  There were no birth certificates then.  Was it a Delayed Birth Certificate like my grandfather got for himself in the 1950s?

It is the North Carolina Birth Index 1800 - 2000
When you look at the actual image it is from:

Was William Henry Dennis who married Lennie Nola Holt, the same man
that Elizabeth Betsy Cox Holt was found living in the household of
after the death of her husband Caswell???? If so is he the father of
Lonnie & Lillie?????

The William Henry Dennis that Lennie Holt married was not born until March 1865 so he would have been only 5 years old in 1870 which is the census that shows Elizabeth A. Cox Holt living in the household of a William Dennis.

The parents of William Henry Dennis that married Lennie Holt are James David Dennis and Martha A. Johnson

I do not know if the 2 Dennis are related somehow.

I think the William Dennis that was living in 1870 with Elizabeth Holt and her kids (by Caswell) must be the father of the kids born to Elizabeth in the early 1870s, though I don't have absolute proof.  Obviously it was not Caswell, as he was killed in the war.
