Introducing the Zachariah Mann family

Zachariah Mann, oldest son of Silas & Polly Mann, was born in 1817 in Chatham County, NC.  He died in the mid 1890s, though for reasons I can not explain, his gravestone in Christian Chapel Church Cemetery indicates he died in 1905.  Zachariah married three times.  His first wife is unknown.  He married her in the late 1830s and apparently had no children by her that lived more than a few years.  About 1845 he married Celina Woodell.  Celina & Zachariah had two children: William Taylor Mann and Adlaide D. Mann.  Celina died about 1852 and within a year or so Zach had married Martha F. Patterson.  Martha & Zach had nine children, though only five (or maybe six) lived to adulthood and only four beyond 1900.  Seven of the children's names are known to me:
1.) John D. Mann, born ca. 1855, died between 1880 and 1900
2.) Julia Mann, born ca. 1857, died between 1870 and 1880
3.) Mary Elizabeth Mann, born 1860, died 1894; married Murphy Sanders Holt
4.) Richard Ames Mann, born 1863, died 1928; married Alice Cornelia Holt
5.) Sarah Frances Mann, born 1865, died 1946; married Napoleon Otis Holt
6.) Susan C. Mann, born 1868, died after 1880
7.) Martha A. "Mattie" Mann, born 1870, died 1963; married James R. Pollard

NOTE: Murphy, Alice and Otis Holt were siblings, children of Anderson A. Holt.
