You are invited to the special program "Legends and History of the
Mānoa Chinese Cemetery" tonight (Wednesday, March 12) at the Mālama O
Mānoa annual meeting to be held in the Mānoa Gardens Community Room
beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Established in 1851 by the Lin Yee Chung Association, the Mānoa
Chinese Cemetery is the oldest Chinese cemetery in Hawai'i. It was
listed on the Hawai'i Register of Historic Places in 1997, and is one
of the most important yet unheralded treasures of Mānoa Valley. Sam
Luke and Nanette Naioma Napoleon will be featured speakers.
The public is welcome to attend and parking is available at the Mānoa
