Hello,

I think I posted about this in the past, but didn't give enough
information. Can anyone give me some suggestions on how I can ensure
that Google finds a blog? My client is a dentist and he has been
working on putting content on his blog daily. I warned him of the
dangers of keyword stuffing and duplicate content. Most of his
material is pretty unique, but it seems that I can never pull it up on
Google when I do a search on his keywords or even his name for that
matter. Here is the url:

www.drmatarazzo.com/blog

Can anyone give me some recommendations? Should I have his webhost
install a widget for bookmarking onto Digg, etc? Any information on
these services would also be appreciated.

Thanks!
Andy

Andy...I hate to say this, but where do I begin! It is a nice blog,
but there are several things needed.

SEO pack plugin
Site map plugin
Tag cloud
Pingomatic? Google Blog Submit?
Time
Back links
Time
Back links
Time
Back Links.....I think you get the idea :) There is much more, but I
would attend Corey's class for more info...

That brings up the question....I am doing my first website/blog for a
client in WP and have read around about others' favorite/recommended
plugins. Are those the only two you recommend Ty? Or do you (or
Corey) have your favorites posted somewhere?

there are so many WP plugins out there. there are several blogs
dedicated to the subject where you can search for seo related or link
optimizing plugins/widgets. And more come out all the time.

Here is the official basics from Wordpress.org themselves, with some
links to other resources.

For SEO & Fun I recommend (And Use):

Cross Linker - Allows keywords to automatically hyperlink to other
sites (Anchor text to your other sites)
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cross-linker/

SEO All in one pack - Allows easy editing of meta info, permalink
edits.....This is to me a critical plugin.
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/

Sociable Plugin - By far the best plugin for social network sharing,
email and print buttons.

Comment Relish - Send an e-mail message to users who comment on your
website who have never commented before. The message dispatched to the
user is defined within the plugin’s preferences.

Dagon Site Map - **Important..This is by far the easiest to install
site map.

Feedburner Feedsmith - Access your original WordPress feeds and
redirects them to your FeedBurner feed

SEO friendly Images - Automatically updates all images with proper ALT
and TITLE attributes

These are a few I use, but I cannot divulge all my goodies!
