I've had several clients work with Studiopress themes. In general
they are very good themes. If you have never worked with wordpress or
a stuidopress theme, you might get a little confused when it comes
time to replace the default example images used for logos with your
own, real logo.
Some other complexities can appear if you try to set up 'widgets' for
specific purposes for the first time, or select a template to make one
page look slightly different within the theme structure as compared to
another.
In the grand scheme of things Studiopress themes are slightly
advanced, so the learning curve is slightly amplified. That doesn't
mean you should jump in, but if you are learning/teaching yourself as
you go, don't get to frustrated if things are a little confusing.
Using an advanced theme for your first go around, is kind of like
trying to fly a jet fighter for your test flight to get your pilots
license.
ok, that's probably an exaggeration. :) But you will probably get
stuck a few times, so make sure you have someone you can turn to for
questions or help. :)
