Sheriff's deputies arrested six people in west Phoenix after a
standoff.
Passers-by said a white car carrying five armed men pulled up to a
home near 39th Avenue and Southern Avenue in South Phoenix around 9
a.m. Thursday. The home was occupied by a woman at that time.
Deputies arrived shortly afterward and contacted the people inside the
house. They were uncooperative, according to deputies.
The six people inside eventually came out, and were arrested by
deputies.
One of the men had a felony warrant, and the white car that the five
men used was reported stolen in Phoenix Thursday morning.
