Dear Ms Klink, Mr. Damoense and to whom it may concern,
We wish to acknowledge the contribution of the following persons and organisation for their contribution towards the erection
of the boundary wall erected between Diamond Cresent and Belhar
Mr Swegers - Apec Consultants
Rowan Thomas - City of Cape town project engineer responsible for the construction of road
Mr Viti - City of Cape Town Liaison Officer
Mr Walbrugh - WB Civils
We wish to confirm that the wall is City of Cape Town property and hence will need to comply with the relevant policy relating to boundary walls.
In an endeavour to ensure conformity, we propose that the residents of Diamond crescent discuss among themselves how best to ensure that the Diamond Crescent wall and road verge is maintained. It will be helpful to agree on a set of standards that will ensure that there is conformity.
We would propose that the following vegetation be planted
the silver leaf variety is extremely hardy
The above are water wise and extremely drought tolerant.
Annual seeds can be sown in april / may just after the first winter rain.
The following seed need to sowed only once and will ensure that they spread their seed for years to come
We recommend - Bokkbaai vygie
Mission bells
african daisy
poppy
cosmos
to try but a few
We would consider this an ideal community building exercise from which every one would benefit
Should there be any issue or have any questions, please do not hesitate to revert
