Music and sound related happenings are going on all around town. Join in or go to enjoy the spectacle!

Bike riding down a sound-producing alley gauntlet.
Clashing folk guitar strolling strummers.
Nautical soundwaves on the harbor.
Sounds from live plants.
Electronic music produced in a public fountain.
Grown men proclaiming their love for cake.

A further outpouring of creative energies associated with the High Zero festival, High Jinx performances can be very exciting and at times, even un-nerving. Anything is possible. Stop by and see what happens.

Talked to John today about these two HJs we're planning to collaborate
on and I think we might need to tweak our plans.

Balloon Orchestra - John suggested Friday 9/28 4pm at AVAM. I
wondering if this will cut too close to the Bike Orchestra, which
somehow I wasn't aware of until I just checked the High Jinx page a
minute ago! I definitely would enjoy bringing my bike wheel down
again for that. So that's two High Jinxes that would be very high
priority for me and I'd be concerned about a conflict. Maybe we can
make the balloon thing a little earlier? I cc'ed John and I'll call
him tomorrow about it (he's away at a festival without internet
access).

Experimental Food - we came up with two options: Friday 9/28 1pm at
Wyman Park (hoping to catch a lunch crowd) or Sunday morning at the
Farmer's Market. The Farmer's market context would be amazing and
ideal (it was Audrey's idea, to give credit). But we have to consider
whether it's compatible with the Music Sports set for 10am and Giant
Paper Instuments set for noon. It would be good to get feedback on
this!

I'm planning to participate in Thursday's parade and Saturday's Learn
Avant Dance!

Excitedly,
Mike
