If there was press coverage of the previous week's High Jinx Street
performances it would read like the Weekly World News.

Nurse attempts to get insight into Baltimore's smells
Man plays drum set, without drums!
Noise musicians play music you can't even hear!
Summertime concert series attracts living dead!
Anarchist bicyclists quit riding and begin playing their bikes.

Don't feel sad if you missed the 10 performances over the last week,
cause there are at least 25 more to come. I say at least because
events are being added every day to the High Jinx calendar.

This weekend:
Tonight at the True Vine record store in Hampden, Bob Wagner single
handedly covers a 10 song set of the music of Fela Kuti. More Cowbell
!!!

Sunday, Laure Drogoul will offer her portable rolling Scentorium at
the downtown farmers market. This is a perplexing and beautiful test
of your olfactory. Try it.
Tomorrow at noon, a Dadaist reading in front of Atomic Books on 36th
st. Hampden.
Then walk down to 3325 Clipper Mill rd at 1:30pm for a "porcupine" of
50 organ pipes playing together.

Monday is packed. Early morning musical honking with rush hour traffic
(7am), a beautiful use of the parabolic dishes down at the MD Science
center(noon), amuse the dogs and "Bark in the Park" at Robert E. Lee
park (5:30pm), a tour de force of Improvised Show Tunes (6pm, location
TBA), and a composed movement piece "Sounding Architecture" in front
of the BMA at 7pm

Tuesday: Effected Station Wagons in Fells pt (3pm), "Being Angry at
Art" near the ArtScape sculptures (5:15pm), Music ESP research U of B
courtyard (6pm)

Wednesday: an all Balloon orchestra at the Car Barn of American
Visionary Art Museum (6pm)

Thursday: the "traditional" High Zero parade through Fells Point.
(bring a costume and/or an instrument and you're in it.)

Much more happening than I list here. Always check the calendar, as
events can change without notice.

There are some great photos of the events at:

See ya. -Bob
