Dear users of HiTS,
I am happy to introduce you a new release of HiTS.
This release was focused on image handling, and the interoperability
with KNIME labs new image processing features. Because of the latter
the it is necessary to add the KNIME labs update site (http://
labs.knime.org/update/2.1) if you want to install the new HiTS imaging
feature. Some other dependencies are also changed, now the recommended
version of KNIME is 2.1.1.
Now it is also possible to refer to files in zip archives, or
available through http connection. Expect updated workflows soon (next
week). We hope this will ease the learning process (many thanks for
Ghislain Bonamy, PhD for suggesting this option).
Details can be found in the change logs (
http://code.google.com/p/hits/
wiki/Changelog), at the end of this email I have copied the relevant
parts.
Best Regards, gabor
