SPAM on google groups

Would it be possible to increase the security to prevent people who
are not members of this group to post (and perhaps require an approval
for the first few message posted?

Hi Ghislain,

I am afraid it is necessary. It was allowed to post only members, now
the new users emails are moderated. (The users sending spams are
banned.)
I feel sorry about the spams.
