My thinking has grown
with recalling the times in history when societies were led by strong family
cultures, both ancient and modern, as a fresh source of roles and relationships
to learn from. That would include the early period of the great English
family world, and the first 200 years of the American family as the deep anchor
of what became modern America.
What other examples are there of worlds in which strong families made the integrity of the culture, as examples to learn from?
If authoritarian cultures follow rules for increasing domination, undermining the integrity of family culture, where are the examples to learn from how it happens and what the choices are?
