Hello everyone!
I wanted to send a quick email to this group to let you all know I will be leaving my post with NYRP at the end of this month- I’m making a big move with my fiancée out to Colorado! It has been such a joy to get to know you all and work with you in such a beautiful spot.
I know there has been some disconnect between many people on this list but if you are still interested in being a part of the garden- just go and hang out with Blanca and Jose! I’m sure they’d love your company.
I also am pleased to introduce you to the manager of the community development department- Ashley Willhite. She’s been working with NYRP for a little over 4 years now- starting as the gardener in Brooklyn! If you have any questions, please feel free to send her an email or give her a call at our main office. Awil...@nyrp.org or 212-333-2552.
All my best,
Rachael

Dear Rachael, Blessings for your transition to Colorado. I’m sure your lightness of spirit will be welcomed there! While I didn’t get a chance to do much at the Heckscher Garden this summer because of my own transition I loved the urban gardening class and your calm and upbeat presence at all the sessions. You created such a welcoming environment amongst young and old. All the best to you and wishing you much success and fulfillment in your new home.
All good things,
Mimi Fierle
