Hello everyone!
I’m so pleased with this growing community group! Unfortunately the Albarran family (los jefes of the garden, if you will) do not have email so we’ll have to make an effort to keep them in the loop (and if you haven’t yet- definitely go by and say hello and introduce yourself if you haven’t yt, they are in the garden most days).
I wanted to invite everyone to the google group- this will be the easiest way for us to communicate with one another, share ideas, concerns, requests, questions, stories, etc. If you are not on the google group and would like to be, you can add yourself here: http://groups.google.com/group/Heckschergarden
Just to clarify:
I will be at the garden this evening INFORMALLY. This is not a meeting but if you are around in the neighborhood and would like to stop by, that’d be wonderful. J
Let’s plan to meet officially next Wednesday, April 21st at 6pm, as discussed. At this meeting I’ll go through basic membership protocol and have new members sign the agreements, divide up whatever bed space is remaining (most likely new members will have to share), and also as a group choose a regular meeting time. I will also bring some vegetable seeds for the group to share.
Enjoy the gorgeous weather and see you soon!
Rachael

Sundays are usually good with me. I can meet next Wednesday too.
We turned the bed and planted our area last Friday so I was over there during the weekend and earlier today to water.
Looking forward to gardening together!
Patricia
I can't do this Sunday but they are usually good for me.

Hi Rachael,
I only just recently registered with you guys to help out in the garden,
so I have yet to get my hands dirty.
I can't make it tomorrow, during the week I'm generally good for 7pm. Saturdays
and Sundays always work best for me.
Let me know.
Best,
Inga

Hey all-
I will be at the garden tomorrow at around 6:30 for those who want to stop by. I would like to find a time to have a meeting with all parties involved so hopefully we can find a regular time to do that.
Are Sundays best?
Thanks,
Rachael

Rachael
That works better, also would a Sunday work since everyone work week might be hectic and the weekend everyone would be wanting to garden.
Just a thought.
Thanks

So it seems that a few people will not be able to attend the meeting tomorrow and I’d love to have as many people there as possible.
How about the following Wednesday, the 21st- same time?
If not, everyone please chime in and let me know what time works best for you and we’ll reschedule!

Hi Rachel, I'm going to be out of town tomorrow and don't think I'll be back in time for the garden event tomorrow evening...darn! Is it possible to give my membership agreement to Patricia Rodgers if she is there and I can send it back to you? Very much looking forward to gardening with you in the near future,

Hello everyone!
Looking forward to seeing you all in the garden for a workday TOMORROW EVENING at 6:00pm!
If not already completed, we will turn the beds, help map out whatever beds are remaining, and organize our spots in the shed!
If you are not currently active in the garden but would like to be, please come! Or, if you’d like to be removed from the list, let me know.
I will be brining additional keys for new members and membership agreements.
See you then!
