•Accurately evaluates existing operation of systems, both manual and automated, including costs, volumes, data flow, documents, reports and other related factors. 

•With direction from management or team leaders, facilitates meetings within and across departments in which decision points are outlined and decisions are made 

•With direction from management or team leaders, drives process design which integrates both system and business area functionality 

•With direction from management or team leaders, works with relevant users and documents processes inclusive of both system and clinical/business components. 

• Accurately defines the desired results of new systems/processes or improvements to existing system/processes. 

•Works with relevant users to document downtime procedures 

•With direction from management or team leaders, writes test plans and scenarios incorporating integrated processes across the continuum of care.  Participates in system and integrated testing for all of the applications you support.  

•Performs software modification or new software implementation projects using Project Management Best Practice for small projects or specific components of medium to complex sized projects.  This includes the documentation of issues, decisions, and their resolutions 

•Ensures effective integration of new or modified system/processes into the work environmen 

•Holds regular meetings with key users and departmental personnel to discuss project plans, time lines, issues and status of system 

•Coordinates the scheduling, delivery, testing and implementation steps associated with software fixes, and/or customizations for assigned area 

•Once new software has been implemented, regularly monitors to identify and correct any problems that may not have been observed in the testing phase. 

•Analyzes problems with software applications to identify problem areas and recommend corrective  action. 

•Provide users with application assistance and consultation within assigned product area of expertise. 

•Responsible for keeping abreast of the latest developments in computer technology and recommending changes in hardware and software in an effort to meet the changing needs of the organizatio 

With direction from management or team leader, updates ambulatory (including physician) documentation and workflow within the application. 

Requirements 

  

·          Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

·          3 years experience with ambulatory applications preferred 

·          Epic certification desired

·          RN or other Ambulatory office background preferred

·          Experience with building a Hospital Electronic Medical Record preferred

·          Epic/Ambulatory  Build Experience 

·          Experience in Go Live
