Job Description:
Manages Epic EpicCare IT Projects. Responsible for all aspects of project management and for keeping projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Mentors project team members. Analyzes business requirements for new EpicCare system requests, system upgrades, and system replacements to ensure compatibility with IT standards and successful implementation. Determines if the requested functionality exists within an existing IT System or if a new system is required to meet the business needs. Manages system selection process, as needed. Serves as the IT liaison for processing requests for new systems, procurements, moves, and other facility or business unit IT initatives.
Job & Education Requirements:
Managers Epic EpicCare IT Projects. Project management in an IT healthcare environment. 5 - 7 years of IT project management, application analysis, requirements definition, procurement, and implementation experience. Must have extensive experience in managing varied application implementations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be customer focused. Works independently, with minimal supervision. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project required.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
* Project management principles and Microsoft Project
* PMI certification, EpicCare certification
* Understanding of EpicCare implementation process inclusive of desktop impact, IT applications, Internet applications, and network infrastructure. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
