Researchers have collected some very interesting data from their
studies of aging across different cultures and you may be surprised at
the results. Scientists have studied the diets of cultures across the
world that seem to boast the longest-living, yet youngest-looking
people in the world and have reported their findings in an effort to
convince American`s to change their diets. Some of the most popular
studies conducted involved the Aborigines, an Australian culture whose
diet has for thousands of years consisted of fish, wild game, nuts and
beans, and whose population rarely suffered from incidences of heart
attack, stroke, or diabetes. Once this culture was introduced to the
more modern diet of their English counterparts, however, their
incidences of these ailments greatly increased. Another culture well
known for it`s long-living, so much so that there are more centenarians
here than in any other culture in the world, is the Okinawans. Their
diet consists mainly of fish, vegetables and fruit, and a limited
