unable to boot the USB image

hi all,

Please to be informed that i'm not able to boot the Hex USB image from
thumb drive, the error message is "missing operationg system"

my laptop is compaq presario v3133AU
thumb drive is PenDrive 8GB S.L.i.a

Please help

Did you check md5/sha1?

were you able to complete the dd process?  Also, did you set that device as your primary boot device in the bios?

hi JJC,

the dd process is successful..
i had tried this usb drive with BackTrack, without any problem.

since hex 1.0 i get the problem due to BTX issue. and they told me the BTX issue has been solved in freeBSD 7.0 and hex 2.0 is based on freeBSD 7

so, i try again once the image has been compiled by enhanced. but still same..

The patched BTX loader should be fine, please verify the MD5/SHA of the image, the typical BTX issue manifested as a loop in the load process and not a "missing operating system" error.
