Hello, Haxers!

I'm thinking about moving abroad from Russia for the new experience and I wonder if there are some job positions for me, involving Haxe and game development.
Some may know me as a Haxe contributor (I contributed to JS, C# and Python targets, the language in general and the hxnodejs library), but I'm actually a mobile game developer.
I'm using C#, Haxe and Unity3D engine on a daily basis, so I have some experience in that, but I'm not bound to the technology (just like Haxe :)) and is open to learning.

Anyway, I think my LinkedIn profile is quite complete (https://www.linkedin.com/in/nadako) and one can check out my github contributions (https://github.com/nadako).

Please, mail me at nadako(at)gmail.com if that sounds interesting to you :)

I can only say great things about Dan. He's helped a lot on the C# target, bringing more stability and adding new features to it; He's also done great work with JS, and Python targets - not to mention all his (much needed) recent work to refactor and fix bugs on haxelib.

If anyone is looking for an awesome Haxe dev, this is your chance :)

Be aware that in case of Gamesys, "Haxe and game development" it's most likely gonna be slots or other casino games.

Yes, Adi Reddy and other suspect guys (http://adireddy.github.io/haxe/work/haxe-at-work), playing nice and friendly and open-source-minded.
Producing lots of great libraries and externs just to cover there dark business. (https://github.com/pixijs/pixi-haxe, https://github.com/adireddy/device-capabilities/tree/master/src)
Hiring Haxe people all the time, and God knows what happens to those poor guys...

(Just kidding.)

I don't really like casino stuff, but programming in Haxe is fun anyway. BTW, does anyone knows what happened to the Poki company? It was apparently created by a Gamesys founder and he was looking for haxe dev about a year ago, but nowadays the "jobs" section on its website doesn't mention Haxe at all, looks like they went with TypeScript after all, which is unfortunate, since it would be really fun developing small HTML5 games in Haxe.

Maybe Massive interactive, if you're not just into games, but applications in general? There's also TiVO in the US.

Still there :) Apparently there's not much gamedev companies hiring haxe devs at the moment. I wonder if that means that haxe is mostly used for gamedev by individuals rather than companies.

I think you are right. For my company is also hard to start working with haxe because:
1) Not have good enough IDE (wit full debug support all targets ) for all OS ( Win, Mac, Linux). At the moment have many:
 IDE: haxedevelop(falshdevelop),intellij idea, visual studio(haxe plugin),atom
2) Mobile native plugins : missing or depends of framework
3) Which framework to choose and is in active development ?
   Nme, Openfl, snowkit, Kha, heaps
You can check this topic what other company looking for:
I really like haxe , but with above issues maybe I will be the only one (n the company) use it for personal projects and in some moment our company will start to use Unity or some javascript library in the post flash era

I know kongregate is working with a lot of haxe devs these days. You could reach out to John Cooney.
