Hi , i did not find a build pack to install neko on heroku , so i hacked one
I'm not a linux ops specialist (nor a C specialist ) so feel free to edit it and submit some changes :
It could be a great opportunity for server side neko development since on heroku one can almost install anything.

I used the 64 bit compiled binaries for linux , version 1.8.2 ( i could not make the 2.0.0 work, ( i was not able to compile the right version of libc on heroku servers ).
I compiled however libgc and bundled it ( in the lib folder ).
so 2 files to work on : the bin/compile script and obviously the conf/httpd.conf file , but it seems to work for now.

Finally when everything works without problems It would be cool to submit it to the official 3rd party buildpack list.

Regards

that's great.  I've been looking at this also.  openshift is another paas that doesn't support neko out of the box but will let you install it.  I haven't tested it yet but I think dotcloud will run neko also.  heroku is another really good resource for haxe/neko web developers.
