AUDITIONS FOR OCTOBER THRILLER

[HCT]

The Annual Dessert Theatre, “Hide and Seek” written by Leslie Havard,
will hold open auditions on Monday, August 23rd and Tuesday, August
24th at 6:00 PM at Hawkeye Theatre, 521 North 12th Street in Fort
Dodge.

The cast call is for four (4) female and four (4) male actors. No
prior experience is necessary, and no preparation is needed; actors
simply need to show up for auditions and read from the provided script
cuttings for the Director. Casting will be based upon the actor’s
suitability to the roles available considering voice, tone,
mannerisms, appearance, and raw talent.

The story blends past mysteries with the present as it probes into the
chilling secrets that an old abandoned farmhouse yields — only at
great peril to the present occupants. The collision between the real
and the supernatural forces is set in motion when a couple expecting
their first child encounters inexplicable problems as they try to
refurbish an old farmhouse. Lights fail, the plumbing malfunctions,
and the pregnant wife sees a young girl swinging silently in the
yard. As the mysteries pile up, the young couple find themselves
threatened in ways they never imagined.

The show will run for seven days this autumn in October – a perfect
time for a thriller – cool nights, lengthening shadows and the full
