Hello Midwestern chess players and luminaries. Just wanted to remind you that the early entry rates for the Midwest Open, played March 9-10th in the beautiful Omaha Marriott, must be postmarked by March 1st to be accepted.

As a reminder, all out-of-state players (along with NE juniors and seniors) pay $40 for early entry, while the rest of the NE adult population pays $45. All entries postmarked after the 1st are $55, as are all entries at the door on the 9th - cash only.

Additionally, the negotiated room rate of $89/night (double occupancy, includes breakfast for two per room) ends on Feb 28th.

We are anticipating having a good turnout, including players from Illinois, Iowa and Missouri. Don't miss out on the fun!
