Hello Everyone,
We want to thank everyone who attended the First General meeting Last week. I finally saw everyone and can say that yall did amazing. So much in fact that I had to get involved and danced along. (Even though i did horrible lol).
Any who, Happy Midterms week. As we reach the midway mark, I personally have been feeling mentally and physically drained. I don't know if its just me, but what does anyone else think to themselves, that the only thing keeping us going is the sweet idea of our hard work paying off when we complete this week and say, “I did really good”. Or is it the Costco Size bucket of instant coffee and a bag of chocolate pretzels for me? Whatever it is. I hope everyone is not feeling too stressed this week.
That's why for this week's General Meeting we would like to Host a Movie Night for everyone to relax and unwind a bit. Feel free to come and watch a Scary/Thriller movie, talk with some of us, or even study. But if you study, no promises you'll get much work done. :)
Like last week we will be meeting in person.
When: Tomorrow, Wednesday October 27, from 5-6 pm
Where: Cross-Cultural Center, Dr. Whites Room.

In addition, we would like to cordially congratulate our new Cultural Chairs. YAYYYYY!!!!

We decided that having 2 social chairs would help alleviate some of the work that comes with making sure everything is inclusive and welcoming. As well as allows for each to promote Traditional and Modern Hawaiian and Polynesian Cultures to the club. We hope everyone will be happy with this inclusion and if you are also interested in having cultural activities with the club, but didn’t want to take the role of a Cultural Chair, you can still get involved by hosting your own Cultural workshop. If interested please let me know. :)
We hope to see you Tomorrow, and dancing will resume next week. If you want, you can also bring some snacks to the movie night. Or not, I won't get mad if you did though. :3.
