Aloha Anteaters, (imma try new things now),
Thank you to those who came last week to the Movie Social and watched Train to Busan with us. I definitely didn't know what to expect but was left thinking about the poor dad by the end of the movie. It really made me think about a character in complete disbelief. For those who couldn't come don't stress, :) there's still the holiday festivities up ahead. (Wink, Wink)
In addition I would like to say that I hope nobody had too bad of a sugar crash or any type of crash during this Halloween weekend and everyone is safe. I am however bummed out that Halloween was on a Sunday this year while last year it was on a Saturday, which would have been perfect, but sadly we can't do anything about that. But you know what we can do? Is attended today's Meeting :). Imma keep doing these emails so get used to it.
This Week we will meet in person:
When: Today, Wednesday November 3, from 5-6 pm
Where: Cross-Cultural Center, Dr. Whites Room. (In front of The Hill/Starbucks)
As mentioned in the previous email, we will be resuming dance practice this week by beginning covering Tahitian basics while having a Tahitian Cultural Presentation beforehand and reviewing Hula Steps from the first meeting. Don't forget to wear something comfortable yet warm as the weather is kind of funky right now so who knows.
And last notice, but keep on the lookout for Holiday Socials that are in the works as well as a Mentor/Mentee program. I actually liked the mentor I got for my time being a mentee and to this day they still owe me $5. (jk).
We’ll see y'all later today :).
