Aloha Nookies!
We are officially in Week 4. As midterm season is approaching (or has already approached for some of us…), it’s grind time once again! The quarter goes by so fast, doesn’t it? As always, take some time to unwind from studying and balancing all the busy-ness that life entails. On to some announcements!
MORE Plan Updates
As you all may have heard, the UC schools have announced that we are returning to in-person learning beginning January 31st (yes, in the middle of week 5 midterm season…). That means that we will be resuming our in-person meetings in the CCC’s Dr. White Room starting week 5! We do have a lot of things planned for the remainder of the quarter full of more cultural and dance workshops, socials, and opportunities to make friends and get to know new people despite these past few weeks online.
Also, due to the impact of COVID including restrictions and a major loss of fundraising and preparation time, we as a board have unfortunately decided to cancel this year’s luau. Sadly, it's just not possible to plan something that big in uncertain circumstances, as well as have such limited time to learn a huge number of dances, make all of the costumes, practice, etc… We are INSTEAD going to be holding a spring retreat/banquet for you all. We hope you all understand these circumstances. We still want to do something special, because you deserve it after the past couple of years of remote learning.
Week 4 General Meeting
This week, we will be holding an online study hall to hold y’all accountable to study and keep grinding for the upcoming midterms! If you would like to join us and allot an hour out of your Wednesday to study, chill out with other members, and have a reason to NOT procrastinate, come hop on the meeting!
When: Wednesday, January 26th at 4-5PM on Zoom

That’s it for this week. I hope to see you this Wednesday, and hopefully in person next week! Mahalo everyone <3
