Aloha everyone!

 

Happy Week 3! I hope Spring Quarter has been treating you all pretty well! But week 3 also means only 3 more weeks until SPRING RETREAT!! Let’s get into some announcements.

 

Important Retreat Update:

  • If you didn’t see our previous email this week, we have finally finalized the information for our spring retreat! This year, we are going to Idyllwild, California the weekend of May 6-8. Our amazing Vice President Rayleen has put together a lot more information for retreat, so be sure to check that email, and don’t be afraid to message us with any questions or concerns.

    • REMINDER! Please fill out this form so we can have a finalized list of people who can come and prepare ride groups!

 

NOOK Point Opportunities:

  • YAY! Our first NOOK point opportunity of the quarter! As a reminder, for every 5 NOOK points you gain from attending CCC events and general meetings you get 10% off of the total retreat cost. (for this year, we will reimburse you the discount by the time of the retreat so please pay the retreat cost in full)

  • We have a couple NOOK point opportunities coming up:

    • Booth at the Multicultural Involvement Fair at the CCC on Thursday April 14th from 11am-2pm in the Ring Room at the CCC. 

    • CCC Real Talk: Removing the White Lens. This quarter, the CCC collaborated with the African Student Union to create this presentation! This Real Talk will take place Friday April 15th from 5-6pm in Dr. White’s Room.

  • If you can attend any of these events, please fill out this form. If you can attend the Real Talks, be sure to fill out the sign-in form on behalf of NOOK so we can fulfill our affiliate requirements. Thank you all so much!

 

Week 3 General Meeting:

This week we will be learning a kahiko from our Luau Chair Rachel! Be sure to come out to learn more about the kahiko and how to dance it.

  • When: Monday April 11, 2022 from 4-5pm

  • Where: Dr. White’s Room in the CCC

 

Whew! Sorry for the long email, but I hope everything was clear. And if you cannot attend these NOOK point opportunities, no worries! We will have plenty of opportunities coming up in the future. And there are always some NOOK point opportunities during our general meetings :) I hope to see everyone today!
