Hi everyone!
And welcome to Week 7! I just wanted to start off by thanking everyone who came out to our retreat this weekend! We had the best time bonding with everyone and exploring the little mountainside of Idyllwild! For those who couldn’t make it, no worries, we are already planning for next year ;)))
We have just four more weeks to get through until summer, so let us help you out with a relaxing meeting this week of painting and eating in the park. But first, some announcements...
CCC Requirements:
There is another CCC Real Talk this week titled “Check Your Privilege.” Although we are no longer collecting NOOK points… This is still a great way to learn and discuss important topics with your fellow Anteaters! Plus, it is a great way to contribute to our club :) If you are able to attend, be sure to stick around at the end of the Real Talk and let them know you are there with Hawai’i Club!
Where: Dr. White’s Room in the CCC
When: Wednesday, May 11th from 1-2pm
End of the Year Banquet:
It’s finally here! We have finalized the date and time for our 2021-2022 NOOK End of the Year Banquet! Come to hang out with all of your NOOK friends, eat some food, play some games, and possibly win some awards :) Since we weren’t able to have luau this year, we hope this will be a great way to tie up the end of the school year and celebrate our first year fully on campus with all the new friends we have made! We hope you all can join us, but please let us know by filling out this RSVP form!

Performing Opportunity:
If you are interested in performing our wonderful Luau Chair’s Auana at the Anteater Awards in Week 8, please be sure to fill out this interest form so we can get a head count for performers!

Week 7 General Meeting:
And finally, this week we will be out in Aldrich Park painting and eating some food out in nature (just like Idyllwild…) We will be painting our CCC Deconstruction Zone mural on Intersectionality and Coalition Building! So be sure to come out to paint, hang out, brainstorm ideas, or eat your dinner! Anyway you come, we would just love to hang out with you. Any extra paints or brushes will be greatly appreciated :)
