Spring Quarter Week 8 Newsletter

Good morning and aloha!! We are nearing the end of the quarter, already! I hope you all are doing well and working hard, having fun, and staying safe. Here's what's going on this week:

Week 8 General Meeting

For this week, we will be reviewing Rachel's hula auana. Pareos will be provided!

For those who are/want to be performing at the Anteater Awards event this Wednesday, please try to attend!! If you are unable to make it to today's meeting to practice, please contact us immediately so that we can send you anything you need to learn the dance if you want to perform.

• When: Monday, May 16th from 4-5pm
• Where: Dr. White Room in the Cross Cultural Center

Anteater Awards

If you are performing, here are some details about the event:

• When: Wednesday, May 18th. And here are the ranges of times which you need to check in or be available:
• Performer check-in: 5-5:30pm
• Reception: 5:30-6:30pm *dinner will be provided for performers!* 
• Ceremony: 6:30-8:30pm (our actual performance is still TBD, so please keep an eye out for an email for the specific details about this!!!)

Possible Week 8 SOCIAL!

Not sure if you all received this exciting email, but SUMMERLANDS IS BACK!!! For those of you who have never heard about it (since it's been years since the last Summerlands, or any campus concert at all...), Summerlands is a music festival held on campus in Aldrich Park. There are various artists who come to perform, this year there are concessions and a beer garden (!?), and there will be giveaways and other activities! And the best part, it's completely FREE for current undergrads!! All you have to do is make sure you fill out a waiver to attend, and present your student ID.
