As of today (1/6/2012), the renewed purpose of this forum (HarmonyFLgardens)
is to foster open discussion of topics related to the actual process of
gardening in the town of Harmony, Florida, USA.

This forum exists to enable the free and open exchange of gardening ideas.
It is also about sharing gardening experiences in Harmony. The purpose over
time is to help promulgate a "How To" guide of what works and what doesn't
work related to gardening in Harmony.

This group is open to everyone. No one will be excluded. The only exceptions
to this policy are spammers, flammers and anyone else who's intention is to
disrupt communication rather than contribute to it.

This group is not limited to current or future residents. Anyone who wants
to know what is going on in Harmony gardens may participate, whether you
want to know about community gardening or Harmony home gardening. For this
reason the membership to this group is completely open. We will use our
better judgement in maintaining this policy. If spam, flame or other
"off-topic" posts get out of hand, this membership policy will be revisited.

Only topics related to the actual act of gardening will be accepted. For
example, the varieties of plants that have succeeded or failed, what kind of
fertilizer works and how much, what works best for controlling pests, and so
on. Sharing personally grown produce outright or sharing personally grown
produce in exchange for other personally grown produce or for monetary
compensation is also welcome.

Posting photos of your plants is encouraged. Even photos of something that
went wrong as an example of what not to do is welcome. If you have products
made from your produce, please talk about them. There may also be the
occasional announcement of opportunities for free or discount gardening
related materials.

All posts are held for moderation.

Any topics of a political or confrontational nature will be ignored and will
not appear. "Political" topics are those related to rules, procedures or
organization. In other words, what was discussed in the past in this forum.

If you would like to make "political" commentary or questions about the
community gardens or about this forum or anything else not related to the
actual process of gardening or the sharing of garden products and ideas,
please do so in the "HarmonyFL" forum instead:

The primary purpose of this forum is for folks to share what they know about
gardening in Harmony from their own personal experience.
