Polling indicates the meeting should be at Greensides ballroom Sun
9/28 at 4:30.
Since the split was fairly close, maybe we should have the next one on
a week night since the same people get left out of the Sunday
meetings.
Also, since I still don't have a complete list of members, there is no
way to know if a majority is reached in order to definetively pass any
of our proposals, so I think voting will be on hold for another week
or two until I can contact everyone and get a complete list. We have
enough things to discuss that this shouldn't cause a problem.

We never did decide whether votes needed to be of a majority of people
present or desiring to vote versus a majority of members.

From my experience, it's rare that a majority of members will participate in
any vote, so votes of members who wish to participate via meetings and
online forms of polling/voting is much more practical.

In many organizations by-law changes are the only voting decisions requiring
a majority of membership (rather than those voting), and we may want to
incorporate that. For the moment, however, since we don't yet have
signed-up members, just possible interested residents, it may be putting the
cart before the horse.
