Buckets of Summer Herbs

There's not much you can grow in the high heat of the Florida summer. That
said, I am happy to report that at least a few herb varieties are among the
exceptions.

As you can see in the attached photo, I have had great luck with sweet basil
this season (3 large bushes in the back). I have also had success with
rosemary, Italian parsley and mint. The mint was just started from a twig 3
or 4 weeks ago.

The only plant I am not completely happy with is the parsley. It's
recovering from being over watered (I think). Only time will tell.

Here are the same basil plants a month later. That's about 6 linear feet of
basil from only 3 plants! This is way too much basil for us.

Anyone in need of fresh basil is welcome. Feel free to ask Nimi anytime.
