In discussions with our community, we heard the view expressed occasionally that it is hard getting started with YottaDB. While setting up an enterprise scale application in production, taking advantage of the more powerful features of YottaDB, naturally has a learning curve, getting started is as simple as falling off a log, if you are comfortable with the Linux shell. Since many of those views are likely the software equivalent of an urban legend, https://youtu.be/VKhA8-YMyjQ demonstrates how simple it is to install YottaDB, access the database from a variety of languages, crash and reboot the system - with YottaDB automatically recovering the database.

As always, please send us your feedback. Thank you.

I used YDB for my hobby project, learned it about it through my work with VistA.
It was a good experience, off the beaten path but YDB handles it.

Kitharadb.com is a monolithic ETL
Thyran.com is a ML pipeline, BAAI/bge-large-en-v1.5, YottaDB for persistent storage and FAISS as high-speed vector index.
