Hello,

Has anyone set BCMA up to work for IMO clinics?  If so, do you have the latest documentation on how to get this accomplished?

Thanks

Hello Ann,

To my knowledge people have not done that outside the VA; and in
addition, the VA recently (in the last 5 years) has significantly
enhanced the functionality. I think the biggest obstacle you will have
is making sure your VistA system is patched up enough to be able to
use the new functionality, as you won't find old documentation of how
it used to work.

I am sure you can find the documentation in the VDL, in the CPRS and
Inpatient Pharmacy sections.

Hi Sam,
Thank you for the quick response and I apologize for my late one.   I did find the technical manual on clinic orders and see where the old "Pseudo-ward" functionality was really just a work around way back.   I'll keep digging!  Mainly trying to see what patch level is needed.

Thank you,

Hey Ann,

You should have me on speed dial!

I dimly recall that it is a major CPRS release that did the changes. Therefore, if I were you, I would go back CPRS by CPRS version and see what they added as new features.

I did a search for you:
