We build diverse coalitions, influence policy, and develop innovative programs to improve the lives of all people and protect the environment.
GreenTRIP Associate: The GreenTRIP pilot project proved that when we significantly reduce excess parking in new homes and give out transit passes and carshare memberships we can create a new paradigm of urban growth -- an affordable one focused around people and great spaces instead of cars and large garages. This position will help accelerate the expansion of GreenTRIP, work to bring bring the benefits of certification to more affordable housing developers, and help the GreenTRIP director launch an initiative to unleash the power of GreenTRIP at a larger scale. Candidates must have direct experience with parking, zoning and related transportation issues.
Assistant to the Executive Director: This position is perfect for someone with at least 3 years of experience in transportation and/or land use planning, and with great organizational and communication skills. Working on everything from policy and programs to administration, this position will provide excellent exposure to a wide range of issues, organizations and leaders in the field. It is anticipated as a 3 month position.
