Oakland Fresh School Produce Markets needs your help to distribute 2,000 pounds of fresh produce to 12 neighborhood schools every week!  Spend a couple hours with beautiful fresh food and good people and help make Oakland's schools and neighborhoods healthier and happier places!

The first attachment is a volunteer flyer for folks to help with produce distribution at the OUSD warehouse on Monday afternoons and Tuesday mornings to early afternoons.  Anyone and everyone is welcome to come help!

The second attachment is an internship description for a couple positions to co-coordinate the volunteer distribution team on Mondays/Tuesdays.  This is an unpaid internship.  It is ideal for college students studying food systems, sustainable agriculture, public health or community development who are required to do community work/internships or field studies, or college graduates or professionals in transition looking to get involved in an exciting community project.  There are certain qualifications required for these positions listed in the description.  Folks can send their resume and cover letter to me, and I will respond to set up an interview.

Be healthy, be happy, be fruitful, hope to see you on Mondays and Tuesdays!
