Attached, please find an application form for the HOPE Collaborative Youth LEAD fellowship program: Youth Learning Entrepreneurship And Developing skills. This is a 7-week program, including weekly classes and bi-weekly field trips, in which Oakland youth (ages 13-25) learn basic business and entrepreneurship skills to build their capacity to take leadership to achieve the HOPE Collaborative's vision of vibrant Oakland neighborhoods that provide equitable access to affordable, healthy, locally grown food; safe and inviting places for physical activity and play; and sustainable, successful, local economies—all to the benefit of the families and youth living in Oakland's most vulnerable neighborhoods.
We have space for 8 participants. Applications must be received by September 4th, and there will be an orientation session the following week for participants that are accepted into the program. Classes will begin on Sept 17th and will end on October 29th.
