Hi all ~

Thanks to those who came out to join us in digging and planting last Friday with People's Grocery at the California Hotel!  It was fun to reconnect with folks, and we had a great time in the sunshine.

Join us a week from today to help Oakland Food Connection turn an East Oakland backyard into a mini-farm ... Wednesday, August 12th, 1-4 pm.  The backyard is on Outlook at 64th Avenue.  Let me know if you think you'll join us, and if you'll need (or can offer) a ride.
