Dr. Margaret Flowers, Single-Payer Advocate, Coming to Triangle

Please save Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, from 3 to 4:30 PM for an exciting
presentation tentatively entitled, "Medicare for All", by Dr. Margaret
Flowers, the Congressional Fellow of PNHP. You will remember Dr.
Flowers as the Maryland Pediatrician who stood up at the Senate
Finance Committee hearings in Washington and got arrested for
demanding that Single Payer advocates be called to testify.

Dr. Flowers will be speaking at a public meeting at the First
Presbyterian Church, 305 E. Main Street in downtown Durham. The
meeting is sponsored by Health Care for All NC, with the co-
sponsorship of the Southern Anti-Racism Network and the League of
Women Voters of Orange-Durham-Chatham. Partial support has been
obtained from the Presbyterian Church USA.
